He is widely recognised for his expertise in complex bone marrow transplants and advanced haematological care. He has successfully performed more than 2,000 life-saving bone marrow transplants and has played a pivotal role in developing bone marrow transplant programs in India.
Dr. Dharma Choudhary has over two decades of comprehensive experience in clinical haematology, haemato-oncology, and bone marrow transplantation. His expertise includes autologous, allogeneic, matched sibling, matched unrelated, and haplo-identical transplants for both adult and paediatric patients. He has extensive experience in managing complex transplant cases, including high-risk haematological malignancies, inherited blood disorders, and bone marrow failure syndromes. His work also involves management of transplant-related complications such as graft-versus-host disease, infections, and post-transplant immune recovery. He is actively involved in academic teaching and heads fellowship programs in haematology.
