He is widely recognized as a national leader in heart rhythm management and advanced cardiac interventions. Currently, he serves as Group Chairman – Cardiac Sciences at Max Healthcare, where he leads comprehensive heart care services and complex cardiac programs. Honoured with the Padma Shri Award (2007), Dr. Singh is respected for his clinical expertise, academic contributions, and administrative leadership in modern cardiology.
Dr. Balbir Singh has more than three decades of experience in interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He has held leadership positions at some of India's leading healthcare institutions and has contributed significantly to advanced cardiac care, heart rhythm management, device implantation therapies, and complex coronary interventions. His career also includes academic contributions as a Senior Professor at AIIMS, New Delhi.
